Boj inspired children in Hertfordshire and Buckinghamshire to ‘Get Boj-ing’ during Recycle Week 2015.
Twelve preschools were sent a ‘Boj in a Box’ kit – consisting of a poster, stickers, instructions, DVD, CD and activity sheets. They then held fun Boj craft sessions using recycling brought in from home. They made shakers, shoebox guitars, microphones and rattle drums – then had a sing-along to Boj songs!
The children learnt they could reuse things, that might ordinarily be thrown away, to create something useful and fun!
Great Missenden Church of England Combined School allowed the cameras in to film their event!

“We had a fab day. We made musical instruments, drums, microphones and shakers. We played the DVD, then the music CD and the children joined in with their instruments. Outside, the children were experimenting with sounds all afternoon, child led. The mud kitchen became a drum station. Plant pots were used as drums. It really was great. We continued making instruments all this week!”

“Boj is a great role model for the children to learn about being resourceful, creative and just about being a really good friend.”
